Welcome to Wellington Country Park

Wellington Country Park is situated in 350 acres of beautiful parklands and is located just off the A33 between Reading and Basingstoke, on the Hampshire/Berkshire border.

It offers a safe, open air, fun filled venue for all the family, with facilities and attractions especially suited for children up to the age of 10. We are now open at 9.30am daily Monday to Sunday and our season will run from February 11th 2012 - November 4th 2012.

To enjoy, we have several adventure play areas, a toddler’s area, sand pits, slides, miniature railway (£1 extra), animal farm and petting barn (seasonal), nature trail maze, enchanted forest, water play, 9 holes of crazy golf and loads more play equipment to climb on and in; all will ensure a fun filled day.

Within woodlands, there are four nature trails to follow, taking in sights of our vast array of wildlife in their natural habitat. One trail allows you to get up close and personal to our resident herd of Red and Fallow deer.

Children can bring their ‘Scooters’ or ‘bicycles’ (provided they are fitted with stabilisers) with them, but all other bicycles, roller blades etc are not permitted.

Surrounding our beautiful 35 acre lake is the perfect location for a family gathering, picnic or BBQ. (Sorry but please note, there is no boating, fishing or swimming in the lake).

If you really want to relax and enjoy your day, then you can eat in our café, where we have a full selection of hot and cold meals, drinks and snacks as well as ice cream and confectionery. Then, you can take the opportunity to browse round our shop, with gifts and toys for all the family.

During the season, we have over 50 special in-house events and fun days with exciting demonstrations and games for all the family to enjoy! Held in the Park, these are all ‘FREE’ to join in as part of your entrance price. See our ‘calendar of events’ for dates and full details!!

Even your dog is welcome to come, ‘free of charge’, but we do ask that you keep them on a lead, under control at all times and as their owner, that you clear up after them!

Then why not consider our touring Camping and Caravan campsite! Book one of our 87 pitches, all located within the beautiful woodlands with facilities that include free showers and parking right next to your pitch! Campers also have ‘FREE’ unlimited access to all the Park facilities during their stay.

With ‘Classroom Workshops’ available, all based around the national curriculum, using the biodiversity of the Park, discounted child entry and ‘Free’ teacher entry, we can offer a very special engaging, enjoyable and interactive day out for your pupils!!!
